Front Balance Drill


Setup Options




Step 1: Stand on one leg with the other leg lifted in the air. The up leg knee is at hip height.

Step 2: Push off of the down foot forward, simulating running action and have the opposite foot come down in a side lunge position (making sure to land on the ball of the foot).

Step 3: Quickly push off the now down foot and return to the starting position. Hold the starting position until balance is confirmed.



Tips: Focus on landing on the ball of the foot, sinking the hips into the landing, and exploding back to the starting position. Focus on one spot on the ground/wall to help with balance.
