Hip Extension (Bridge)
Step 1: Squeeze the glutes and core. Position the Link™ so it is applying downward force on the hip region. Bring active leg perpendicular to the ground.
Step 2: Push through the down heel and scapula. Feet stay in dorsiflexion. Raise the hips while keeping the glutes activated. Lead with the active leg heel. Hold for 3 count.
Step 3: Return the hips to starting position in a controlled manner.
Tips: At the top of the movement, shoulders, hips and knees should be aligned. Don't be in hyperextension. Keep core engaged at all times. Push through the heels with toes pointing up.
