Mountain Climber Push-Up
Step 1: In all-4-up position on the hands and feet. Form a straight line from head to feet. Hands are at shoulder width.
Step 2: Do a push-up.
Step 3: At the top of the all-4-up position, tighten the core and bring one knee to the chest while keeping the body rigid. The active leg foot should stay off the ground.
Step 4: Return the active foot to starting position and repeat the knee in movement with the other leg.
Tips: Don't let the elbows flare out as it will put unwanted stress on the deltoids and can cause joint pain. Keep the glutes squeezed to ensure a rigid body. Use the upward momentum to push with added force off of the down arm and twist as one side rises into erect position.
